Cyclone Alfred - Coastal Scenes

In February 2025, the Gold Coast experienced its only cyclone in the last 50 years. Alfred brought torrential downpours, life-threatening floods, and a weather event that no one expected. The beaches, in particular, were severely impacted, and Alfred brought some of the largest swells ever recorded.

This was easily the most technically difficult photoshoot I have ever done - dark lighting, fast-moving subjects, and terrible weather conditions. This tested my photography skills to the next level, and I am proud to showcase what I produced.
